Minced Meat: Mince – Buns of Rice

The perfect minced meat: mince – buns of rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the pound

  • 500 g Mixed minced meat fresh from the butcher
  • 1 size Chopped onion
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 old Ground bread roll
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 liter Vegetable broth

For the sauce

  • 80 g Margarine or butter
  • 3 tbsp Flour
  • Vegetable broth to fill up
  • Salt and pepper
  • Freshly squeezed lemon
  • 0,5 packet Buttered vegetables

For the side dish: rice

  • 2 cups Rice
  • Salt
  • Water
  • Parsley for sprinkling

Make patties

  1. Make a dough out of the ingredients for the dumplings and form dumplings, then cook them in the vegetable stock that has to cook. Take out the dumplings and set aside.

Prepare the sauce

  1. Put the margarine in a pan and let it get hot, sweat out the flour in it and fill up with the vegetable stock, add the 1/2 packet of buttered vegetables and simmer vigorously once, stir everything into a creamy sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper and the lemon. Now put the dumplings in the sauce and let everything steep a little.

Boil rice

  1. Cook the rice in salted water, then pass through a sieve and place in a bowl to serve, sprinkle the parsley over it and serve on the preheated plate.
