Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 500 g beans, green, frozen
- 2 small cans of kidney beans
- 2 carrots
- ½ onion(s)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- possibly bell pepper(s)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with beans and carrots, similar to a chili
Fry the minced meat in a large pan in a little oil until browned. Peel the carrots, slice them thinly, peel the onion, and finely dice them. Add everything to the meat along with the tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the green and red beans to the pan along with the liquid from the can and the same amount of water. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes. When everything is cooked, season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper. If you like, you can slice a red bell pepper and add it along with the beans. This goes perfectly with basmati rice or French country bread.
