Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 300 g minced meat (pork or mixed)
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg(s)
- some marjoram
- 2 tsp mustard, medium hot
- some sweet paprika powder
- some pepper
- some salt
- some celery salt
- 8 slice(s) ham, raw
- some fat, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Starter, hot or cold
Dice the onion and add it to the minced meat. Mix the breadcrumbs, egg, mustard, and seasoning with the minced meat. Line the ham slices, apply 2 tablespoons of the minced meat mixture to one end, and roll them up. Secure with wooden skewers. Brown all over in hot fat. Ideal as a snack, warm appetizer, or for a cold buffet.
