Minced meat skewers with pineapple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 4 slice(s) pineapple from the can
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 50 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 1 tsp breadcrumbs
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • some clarified butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 minutes; Total time approx. 26 minutes

Also ideal for grilling!

Drain the pineapple slices, cut one into 12 pieces, and set aside. Finely dice the rest. Finely dice the onion, grate the Gouda cheese, and knead the minced meat with the diced onion, pineapple, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, and seasoning until a smooth paste forms. Season again to taste and divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each into oval patties and insert a wooden skewer into the center of each. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the skewers in batches for about 6 minutes on all sides. Remove the skewers and place a small piece of pineapple on each skewer. Serve with a delicious seasonal salad, fries, or a slice of bread. These skewers are also perfect for grilling!
