Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g minced meat (ground meat) 400 g beef and 200 g pork
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 bread rolls, soaked
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • marjoram
  • pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sauté the onion in butter, add the parsley, and let it cook briefly. Squeeze out the liquid from the rolls, mix well with all the other ingredients and the meat, and season to taste. Form into a loaf, place in a buttered dish, and roast in the oven for about an hour. Baste frequently. Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered potatoes and a green salad. A lukewarm coleslaw also goes well with the dish.
