Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 roll of (to taste) dough from the refrigerated section
- 1 jar apple compote, ready-made or homemade
- 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
- e.g. powdered sugar
- e.g. vanilla ice cream
- e.g. whipped cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
with puff pastry
Roll out the puff pastry, spread with the apple compote, and sprinkle with a little cinnamon sugar. Unroll the puff pastry and cut into finger-thick slices. Place cut-side down on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes. Once the snails have cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Tip: I always use homemade compote. If you like, you can add raisins. Tastes great with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Yields about 18 mini snails.
