Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g spelt flour type 1050
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 200 ml apple juice, direct juice
  • 2 apples
  • 100 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 50 ml rapeseed oil
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 18 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 8 minutes

Mix the flour and yeast. Warm the juice to lukewarm and knead it with the flour-yeast mixture to form a smooth dough. Cover and let it rise for 30 minutes. Wash and quarter the apples, remove the cores, and grate the apples. Mix the quark, oil, salt, and grated apple and knead into the yeast dough. Let the dough rise for another hour. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Knead the dough thoroughly again. Add more flour if necessary until the dough is no longer sticky. Form 20 small rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the rolls on the bottom rack for about 18 minutes. If you make 20 rolls, one roll has 110 kcal. The rolls are suitable for babies and toddlers from 9 months.
