Mini Applesauce Muffins

The perfect mini applesauce muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 tbsp Oatmeal
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 7 tbsp Oil
  • 150 g Applesauce
  • 90 g Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder

  • 2 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • Sugar sprinkles
  • Love pearls
  • Cocoa
  • Butter for greasing
  1. Stir the oatmeal into the milk and let it swell. Beat the eggs until foamy, add both types of sugar and the oil and stir in well. Mix the flour with the baking powder, sieve and fold in. Then stir in the applesauce and the oatmeal milk mixture at the end. Pour the dough into the muffin troughs, lightly greased with butter, and bake in the preheated oven: hot air: 160 ° C – medium rack height approx. 15-20 minutes.
  2. When the muffins are completely baked – chopsticks test – leave to stand in the mold for approx. 5-10 minutes and then leave to cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. Mix the powdered sugar with a little lemon juice to make a thick icing. Cover some of the muffins with it and decorate with chocolate sprinkles, sugar sprinkles and the love pearls. I stirred some cocoa under the rest of the icing and used it to spread the rest of the muffins.
