Mini dumplings with compote

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 dumplings (mini potato dumplings), 120 g, ready-made product
  • 2 tbsp cane sugar
  • 3 carnations
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla)
  • 1 lemon(s), unsprayed, the juice and a piece of peel
  • 2 apples (approx. 240 g)
  • 1 pear(s) (approx. 150g)
  • 100 g grapes, seedless
  • ½ tsp oil (rapeseed oil)
  • 100 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Low-fat

Cook the potato dumplings according to the package instructions. Drain. Bring 100 ml water, the sugar, cloves, vanilla sugar, lemon juice, and a piece of lemon zest to a boil, then cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Wash and chop the apples and pears. Wash and halve the grapes. Cook the fruit in the vanilla sauce over low heat for about 5 minutes. Heat a pan and add the rapeseed oil. Halve the mini dumplings and fry in the pan until light brown. Serve with the compote. 3 g fat per serving.
