Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g flour
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 90 ml buttermilk
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract, liquid
  • 28 g butter, melted
  • 5 cookie(s), (Oreos), crumbled
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 3 tsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract, liquid
  • 2 cookie(s), Oreos, crumbled

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 9 minutes; Total time approx. 29 minutes

For the batter: Preheat oven to 190°C. Grease two mini donut pans or one regular donut pan. Mix the dry ingredients for the batter in a bowl. Add the buttermilk, egg, vanilla, butter, and Oreos and mix until blended. Fill the pans with piping bags, about half full. Bake the mini donuts for about 5-6 minutes and the regular donuts for about 9-10 minutes, until firm to the touch and spring back. Let the pans cool for about 5 minutes, then carefully remove the donuts and place them on a wire rack. For the glaze: Mix all ingredients in a small bowl until you get a smooth, creamy glaze. Dip the donuts about halfway into the glaze and then sprinkle with some Oreo crumbs. Place the glazed donuts back on the wire rack and let the glaze dry.
