Mint Chocolate Mousse

The perfect mint chocolate mousse recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g After Eight tablets (or comparable product from the discounter)
  • 50 g Dark chocolate
  • 25 g Butter
  • 2 piece Eggs size M
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Water hot
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  1. Heat the chocolate bars, dark chocolate and butter in a water bath. In the meantime, stir two egg yolks and two tablespoons of hot water until frothy. Beat the egg whites together with a pinch of salt until stiff. Beat the cream together with a tablespoon of sugar until stiff too. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg yolk and stir in. Now fold in the egg white first and then the cream. Pour the cream into portion glasses and chill for about five hours. After Eight Fine Sticks are suitable for decoration. A tip: Cut a couple of sticks (approx. 4) into small pieces and stir in the cream.
