Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 head of iceberg lettuce, cut into small pieces
- 150 g peas, frozen
- 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
- 125 g cheese, Edam or Gouda, diced
- 1 small jar of Miracle Whip
- 100 g bacon, lean, smoked, in cubes
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Layer the iceberg lettuce, peas, bell peppers, and cheese one at a time. Spread the jar of Miracel over the last layer. Brown the bacon until lightly browned and pour it over the bacon without any of the liquid fat. Cover the bowl with foil or a lid and refrigerate. Stir thoroughly before serving to ensure everything is well combined. I always prepare the salad in the morning if we plan to eat it in the evening.
