Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g marshmallow(s)
  • 1 kg powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • possibly chocolate, white

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Marshmallow fondant

Melt the marshmallows and water in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave. Some marshmallows will retain their shape but will still be soft. Using the dough hook on a mixer, mix the melted marshmallows with 500g of powdered sugar. Knead in the remaining powdered sugar by hand. You can now use it to decorate or cover cakes. It’s a bit more stable than marzipan and is therefore better suited for shaping figures. If the mixture starts to solidify, simply microwave it briefly. Tip: Kneading in a little white chocolate will improve the flavor.
