Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 125 g butter, soft
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 eggs, (M)
- 3 tsp, leveled coffee powder
- some milk
- 200 g powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp, levelled cocoa powder
- 2 tsp, leveled coffee powder
- 2 tbsp water
- Confectionery, (mocha beans)
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy and gradually add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder and coffee powder and add to the batter alternately with the milk and stir until the batter feels heavy and tears. Pour the batter into a greased and floured springform pan (26 cm) or into small tart cases and bake in a preheated oven at 175-180°C on the middle rack for 30-35 minutes. Cover the cake or tarts while they are still warm with the mocha glaze and decorate with mocha beans. Mocha glaze: Cream the butter until fluffy and mix with the icing sugar, vanilla sugar and cocoa. Add the instant coffee and water and mix well until it reaches a smooth consistency. Place the glaze in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before using.
