Mohklassla – Silesian Poppy Seed Games

The perfect mohklassla – silesian poppy seed games recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Ground poppy seeds
  • 1 l Milk
  • 1 Organic lemon zest
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Raisins or currants
  • 150 ml Rum
  • 75 g Almond sticks
  • 0,25 tube Bitter almond oil
  • 2 Bun old
  • 100 ml Cream
  1. Put the raisins / currants in the rum and let them swell. Cut the rolls into approx. 1 – 5 cm cubes.
  2. Bring the milk to the boil, sprinkle with poppy seeds and let soak for approx. 15 minutes. Stir in lemon zest, sugar and vanilla sugar and bring to the boil again while stirring. Add the raisins / currants (including rum brew), almonds, bitter almond oil and bread rolls to the hot mixture and mix everything together. First draw it through at room temperature and let it cool down. Stir in the cream and then chill. Also serve cool later. The longer the mass goes through, the better.
  3. If the mass is too compact after it has been drawn through and swelled, you can stir in a little milk afterwards.
  4. If children are to eat with you, omit the rum, scald the raisins / currants with 150 ml of boiling water and add 1 tube of rum flavoring to the mass.
