Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 300 g flour
- 1 baking powder
- 250 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 5 m.-sized eggs
- 350 g crème fraîche
- 1 kg apples
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes
Mix the first 6 ingredients with a food processor or hand mixer on medium speed until a smooth, viscous batter forms. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. Fold the apple slices into the batter, ensuring all slices are coated. Pour the mixture into a greased springform pan. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan/convection oven) and bake the cake for approx. 50-60 minutes on the middle shelf; test with a skewer if it is cooked through. Tip: If you like, you can drizzle the hot cake with a glaze made from powdered sugar and lemon juice. Or caramelize the sugar with flaked almonds and sprinkle it on top while the cake is still warm.
