Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 4 tsp coffee, boiled, very strong brewed (preferably from instant coffee)
- 250 g margarine
- 350 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 4 eggs
- 125 g almonds, chopped or ground, alternatively nuts
- 375 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 50 g cocoa powder
- some lemon zest
- n. B. Icing sugar for dusting
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes
Mix all ingredients into a batter and pour into a prepared baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 60-70 minutes. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar. Tip: If you only use 350g of sugar, you could stir in chocolate shavings or finely chopped pieces of dark chocolate.
