Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter or margarine
  • 220 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g flour
  • 2 packets of baking powder
  • 4 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Basic recipe for 24 muffins

Mix all ingredients. Finally, add the milk, 4-5 tablespoons or more, until the batter is nice and light—not too thick, but not too runny. Place paper baking cups in the muffin tin and then fill halfway with batter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for 15-20 minutes. You can also add chocolate sprinkles, cherries, raisins, grated apples, nuts, Smarties, etc. to the basic recipe batter. Let the muffins cool and then decorate as desired.
