Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 125 g powdered sugar
- 275 g flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 5 eggs, size L
- 100 g dark chocolate, coarsely grated
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 50 g cocoa
- 150 ml mulled wine
- 3 cups of cream, approx. 200 g each
- 1 cup sour cream, approx. 200 g
- 1 pack of cake cream, vanilla
- 2 packs of cake glaze, red
- 500 ml mulled wine
Instructions
Working time approx. 50 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Cream together softened butter, sugar, and salt. Add eggs and continue beating. Add flour, baking powder, cocoa, and mulled wine and mix until smooth. Finally, fold in the chocolate shavings. Spread the batter on a deep baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes on the middle rack. Allow to cool. For the frosting, mix the cream, sour cream, and cake cream in a mixing bowl until creamy. Spread evenly over the cold cake base. Prepare the remaining mulled wine with cake glaze according to the instructions and pour over the frosting. Keep the cake refrigerated until ready to serve.
