Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Munster cheese / Vacherol / St. Albray o.a.
  • 2 Apples
  • 2 Onions
  • 100 g Walnuts
  • Apple Cider Vinegar. Rapeseed oil, salt, pepper, sugar

Instructions
 

  • Cut the cheese into pieces. Core the apples and cut into small cubes with the skin on. Peel the onions, cut into cubes and mix with the apple pieces. Chop the walnuts.
  • Put a layer of cheese in a bowl, top with the apple and onion mixture and chopped walnuts. Keep layering until everything is used up.
  • Prepare a vinaigrette from apple cider vinegar, rapeseed oil, salt, pepper, sugar and a little water and pour it over the layered cheese. The sauce should cover everything well.
  • Let it steep for a while and serve with fresh farmhouse bread.
