Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 600 g beans, green
  • 1 large onion(s), peeled and finely chopped
  • oil
  • 1 shot of water
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

or braised beans

Clean and chop the beans, then add them to a pan with hot oil, along with the chopped onion, and brown everything until well browned. Now add a splash of water and cook the beans until all the liquid has evaporated. Season generously with salt, paprika, and pepper, and cook, stirring constantly, until browned to your liking. It tastes similar to mushrooms and goes well with potatoes on their own, but also with any hearty roast. If potatoes alone are too dry for you, simply add a little butter to the hot mushroom-flavored beans.
