Mushroom – cream cheese – cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 4 sprigs of oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 200 g cream cheese, natural
  • 200 g herb cream cheese
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Vegetarian spread with fresh herbs

Clean the mushrooms and cut into small pieces. Peel the onions, wash the herbs, spin them dry, and finely chop everything. Fry the mushrooms and onions in hot oil, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, until no liquid remains. Briefly fry all the herbs. Let cool. Mix the cream cheese with the milk until smooth. Stir in the mushroom and herb mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with parsley or oregano. Goes well with fresh farmhouse bread or flatbread.
