Mushroom cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 200 ml sweet cream
  • 200 ml dry white wine
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Clean and slice the mushrooms. Finely dice the onions and garlic. Melt the butter and sauté the onions and garlic until translucent, then remove both from the pan. Sauté the mushrooms vigorously in the same pan, add the onions again, pour in the wine, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the cream and reduce until reduced to the desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper. Delicious with pork fillet or, without meat, with spaghetti. However, the amount is a bit small for spaghetti servings.
