Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • 8 tbsp sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and vanilla sugar with a hand mixer until frothy. Bring the milk to a boil, then slowly add the sugar and egg mixture while whisking constantly. Continue stirring and bring back to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and add the butter to the pudding, whisking briefly again. Ladle the pudding into bowls and refrigerate or serve as desired. Serve with sugared strawberries, red fruit compote, etc.
