Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g oyster mushrooms
  • 1 cup spelt flour
  • ½ cup durum wheat semolina
  • n. B. water
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, smoked
  • e.g. breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika with a little water until sticky. Combine the semolina and breadcrumbs. Toss the oyster mushrooms in the flour-water mixture and let them drain slightly. Then add them to the breadcrumb mixture and press down lightly. Slowly fry the breaded mushrooms in a pan with plenty of oil until crispy. Drain on kitchen paper.
