Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g mushrooms
- lemon juice
- 1 onion(s)
- oil
- marjoram
- Salt and pepper, as needed
- 4 tomatoes
- 4 slices of toast
- 100 g cheese (Gruyère cheese or other cheese of your choice)
- Parsley, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
If using fresh mushrooms, clean them first; otherwise, it’s best to buy slices. Drizzle fresh mushrooms with lemon juice. Peel and chop the onion. Heat the onions in a pan with oil until translucent. Add the mushrooms and fry until all the liquid is gone. Season with marjoram, pepper, and salt. Preheat oven to 220°C. Toast the toast. Arrange the mushrooms on top, then top with tomatoes and season with pepper and salt. Finally, sprinkle with cheese (grated is best). Place the filled slices of toast on a baking sheet and bake until the cheese melts. Sprinkle with parsley.
