Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g quark (40% fat)
- 80 g sugar
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar (bourbon vanilla sugar)
- 200 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda or baking powder
- some milk, if needed
- 1 plate(s) palm fat or oil
- e.g. powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine the first six ingredients to form a smooth dough. If the dough remains too tough, stir in a little milk. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Using 2 teaspoons, scoop out the Mutzemandeln, drop them into the hot oil, and fry until golden brown. Drain the finished Mutzemandeln on kitchen paper. Roll them in powdered sugar while still hot.
