Muuda's Apple Wine Cake – with a twist

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 150 g flour
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, strawberry flavor
  • 1 kg apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 ml white wine
  • 2 packs of cake glaze, red and light
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 3 bags of cream stiffener

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until frothy. Sift together the flour and baking powder, then fold into the egg mixture. Pour the batter into a springform pan lined with baking paper. Bake for approx. 25 minutes at 175°C. Cook the pudding according to the instructions and pour onto the cooled cake. Peel and core the apples. Cut the apple segments into cubes and cook with the sugar and white wine until lightly pulpy. Finally, stir in 1 packet of light cake glaze. Pour the apple mixture onto the strawberry pudding and let cool. Cook the red cake glaze with water, stir in 2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut, and pour onto the apple mixture. Remove the cake ring when everything is cold. Whip 2 cups of sweet cream with 2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar and 3 packets of cream stiffener. Using a cream piper, pipe the stripes from the cake base upwards to the red glaze using the large star nozzle.
