My cocktail sauce

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 jar mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp brandy (or cognac or brandy)
  • 2 cl red wine, dry, Spanish
  • some chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

ideal as a dip for fresh bread, fondue or grilled food

Combine the mayonnaise and ketchup. Finely chop the garlic cloves and puree them in a mortar and pestle. Add the garlic and mix. Add the brandy and red wine, and finally the chili powder. Mix everything well and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
