Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 3 large boiled potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- Flour, fine
- 3 tbsp pink caviar cream (Tarama, available in Turkish or Greek grocery stores)
- 4 medium-sized shallots, diced
- 1 tbsp butter (lobster butter)
- 1 jar white or rosé wine
- 250 ml cream or crème fraîche
- 1 handful of shrimp
- 1 sprig(s) dill, fresh
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 hours 45 minutes
First, mash the boiled potatoes. Then add the two eggs, a pinch of salt, flour, and the tarama. Using a tablespoon, shape the mixture into gnocchi and cook in simmering water for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, for the sauce, first sauté the diced shallots until translucent. Add the lobster butter and let it melt. Deglaze with the white or rosé wine. Add the cream or crème fraîche and let it reduce. Finally, add the shrimp. Season with fresh dill and salt.
