Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Salt
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • Chicken seasoning
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Recipe from my grandma from Portugal

Separate the chicken thighs at the joint, wash them, and rub them with chicken seasoning. Heat a little olive oil in a large pot and fry the chicken thighs until nicely browned on both sides. Chop the garlic clove and fry it briefly. Then deglaze the chicken thighs with water and a good splash of wine, enough to almost cover them. Add the bay leaf and bring to a boil. Add the peeled tomatoes and crush them slightly. Cook for a good 15 minutes, then add the spaghetti and cook until tender. Season with salt at the very end.
