Lamb steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g lamb steak(s)
  • 1 pack of brown gravy
  • 1 jar red wine
  • 50 g pine nuts, roasted
  • Herbs of Provence
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Briefly sear the lamb steaks (if frozen, thaw in the refrigerator a day in advance) in hot oil on each side, then place them in a baking dish and season the steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic, if desired. In the same pan (leaving the fat in), prepare the brown sauce packet according to the instructions, season with herbs (thyme, rosemary, or Provençal herbs) and add the red wine. Pour the sauce over the steaks and bake for another 15 minutes at 200°C (400°F). Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts before serving.
