Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter or margarine, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 egg whites
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 g almond(s), sliced ​​or chopped
  • 300 ml cream
  • 1 can peach(s), diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, combine the butter, 100g sugar and vanilla sugar, egg yolks, flour, baking powder, and milk into a dough. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Beat the egg whites with 200g sugar until stiff and spread it onto the dough. Finally, sprinkle the almonds on top and bake the whole thing at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Once the base has cooled, divide it into two equal halves and carefully peel off the baking paper. This isn’t easy to do because the cake is quite crumbly. Whip the cream until stiff, mix it with the finely diced peaches, and spread it on one half of the bases (almond side facing up). Finally, cut the other half into square pieces and place them on top of the cream.
