Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 chili peppers, red
- 2 tbsp palm sugar or brown sugar
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp water, warm
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Tastes good with many Vietnamese dishes, such as rice paper rolls, summer rolls or spring rolls.
Dissolve the sugar in warm water. Mix with the remaining ingredients and season to taste. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. This intensely flavored dip is served with white rice, seafood, or fresh or fried rice paper rolls.
