Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml milk, warm
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 400 g flour, smooth
  • 400 g whole wheat flour
  • 150 g hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 100 g almonds, whole and peeled
  • 100 g walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 50 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Butter for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Dissolve the honey and yeast in the milk and stir to combine. Combine the wheat flour and wholemeal flour in a bowl and pour over the milk. Add the salt and vegetable oil and knead with the dough hook of a stand mixer until you have a smooth dough. Let everything rise for 1 hour. Then knead all the nuts into the dough with your hands. Grease a loaf pan with butter and place the dough in it, score it with a knife, cover with a cloth, and let rise for another hour. Bake the nut bread on the middle rack of the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 50 minutes.
