Nut crumble – cherry cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 100 g nuts
  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
  • 750 g sour cherries, frozen or from the jar
  • 1 pack of cake glaze, red
  • possibly almond flakes

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Simply delicious and super easy to bake

Make a crumble from the very soft butter, flour, ground nuts, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Spread half of it on the bottom of a springform pan and press down lightly. Arrange the well-drained sour cherries on top and then cover with the remaining crumble. Bake at 180°C for 60-70 minutes. Use the reserved cherry juice to make the glaze according to the package instructions and spread it over the cake. Sprinkle with almond flakes, if desired. You’ll need double the amount for one baking sheet.
