Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g marzipan
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 shots of rum, or rum-flavoring
- 200 g hazelnuts, lightly roasted
- 50 g breadcrumbs (cake)
- 2 egg whites
- some milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
for yeast pastries, braided bread, nut stollen at Christmas, etc.
Stir all ingredients together. Depending on the recipe, add milk or cream until spreadable. Cake crumbs are acceptable, but not required. Roasted hazelnuts enhance the flavor. The nuts can be coarsely or finely ground. Of course, almonds, walnuts, etc., can also be used, or a mixture of different nuts. Amaretto is a good flavoring for almonds.
