Nutella coconut rolls

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 10 slices of sandwich toast
  • 1 n. B. cinnamon sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 ml milk
  • n. B. Desiccated coconut
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Trim the edges of the toast and roll out the slices thinly with a rolling pin. Spread half of the slices with Nutella and sprinkle with desiccated coconut, if desired. Roll up tightly. Add a little Nutella to the edges to hold it together. Heat a pan with oil. Whisk the eggs with the milk. Dip the rolls in the egg mixture and fry in the hot pan until golden brown. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired. Your imagination is the limit here; these rolls also taste delicious with banana, etc.
