Nutritionist Tells Who Shouldn’t Eat Watermelons

The doctor advised all people to eat watermelon in the morning so as not to put a serious strain on the urinary system before going to bed at night.

Ksenia Selezneva, a nutritionist and Ph.D., explained what diseases are not recommended to eat watermelons and what rules should be followed when eating them.

The expert noted in an interview that watermelon is not recommended for diabetics due to the high sugar content in the berry.

“We recommend not to eat by the kilogram, especially for those who have a tendency to gain weight, to diabetes, because the berries still contain sugar, albeit natural, not white, added, but still,” the nutritionist said.

Selezneva advised people to eat watermelon in the morning so as not to put a serious strain on the urinary system before bedtime, as interrupting it can lead to negative changes in eating behavior over the next day.
