  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 500 g wholegrain oat flakes,
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Line a loaf pan with baking paper. This is essential, as the dough is very sticky. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). Mix together the oats, baking powder, eggs, quark, and salt. Add any other ingredients. Pour the very firm, sticky dough into the loaf pan and place it in the preheated oven. After 50 minutes of baking, remove the bread from the pan and bake for another 10 minutes. The bread is done when it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
