Oat clouds

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 250 g oat flakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g margarine
  • 40 g sugar
  • 100 ml milk
  • Cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • Fat for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Put the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix everything, preferably with an electric whisk, until you have a smooth dough. You can of course use honey instead of sugar, or even omit the sweetener altogether. If the dough is too firm or dry afterward, simply add a little more milk. Then place the dough in small portions on a greased baking sheet (leaving a little space between them as the dough will rise a little) and bake for about a quarter of an hour at around 180°C. When the clouds are a nice brown color, they’re done. Then you can cover a few with chocolate if you like. I was able to make about 20 of these cookies from the specified amount, but some of them were really huge chunks. If you make it a bit smaller, you can easily make 30.
