Oatmeal and quark bread with chia seeds

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g oat flakes, fine
  • 250 g oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Beat the eggs with the quark until creamy. Then mix in the oats, baking powder, salt, and chia seeds and knead with your hands until a firm dough forms. Line a loaf pan with baking paper and press the bread dough evenly into the pan. Sprinkle with wholegrain oats. Bake the bread in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 50 minutes. Then remove the bread from the oven, remove it from the pan and the baking paper, and let it cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, the bread can be sliced.
