Oatmeal apple cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g oat flakes
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp, heaped baking powder
  • 3 large eggs or 4 small ones
  • 150 g margarine
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 500 g apples, pitted, peeled, chopped
  • Cinnamon sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Combine the first 7 ingredients in a batter (mix for at least 5 minutes to ensure the cake is nice and fluffy). Then fold the chopped apple pieces into the batter and pour everything into a greased 26cm springform pan. Sprinkle with a little sugar and cinnamon. Bake for approximately 60 minutes at 190°C (375°F) with top/bottom heat.
