Ingredients for 1 servings:
- Butter, for greasing
- 3 tbsp oat flakes
- 350 g whole wheat flour
- 100 g oat flakes (melted flakes)
- 200 g oat flakes, wholegrain
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp nutmeg, grated
- 1 cube of yeast
- 1 tsp honey
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 500 ml water, lukewarm
- 1 tbsp oat flakes, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius (425 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with oats. Combine the flour, oats, salt, and spices. Dissolve the yeast, honey, and vinegar in the lukewarm water, add to the flour mixture, and mix until a smooth dough forms. Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle with the remaining oats. Cover the bread, place it in the oven, and bake for about 20 minutes. Then bake uncovered for another 30-40 minutes.
