Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g oat flakes (fine or wholegrain)
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 onion(s)
- ½ garlic clove(s)
- 1 pinch of marjoram
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
- 1 pinch of chili flakes
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- some oil for frying

super tasty and a good alternative to meat
Sprinkle marjoram, salt, nutmeg, chili, and pepper over the oatmeal. Pour hot broth over the oatmeal and let it sit for 1/2 hour. Finely dice the onion and garlic, mix with the egg, then add to the oatmeal mixture and knead thoroughly until a smooth paste forms. Form patties and fry them in a nonstick pan with a little oil until browned. You can serve the patties like hamburgers, with hamburger buns, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion rings, and ketchup or hamburger sauce. It’s truly delicious and easy to prepare.
