Tanja's pizza sticks

Spread the love

Ingredients for 16 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 70 ml water, warm
  • ½ pack of dry yeast
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ pack of tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • Pizza seasoning
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • broth, instant
  • 1 tbsp cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Suitable for WW, 0.6 P.

Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water. Add the flour, salt, and oil and knead into a smooth dough. It should be soft but not sticky. Let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, mix the tomatoes with the spices. It can be very spicy. Roll out the pizza dough thinly, spread with the tomato sauce, and sprinkle with the cheese. Cut the dough into strips (about 2cm x 15cm) and twist into spirals. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let rise for another 10 minutes at about 50°C (top/bottom heat). Then increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake for about 15-20 minutes. After 15 minutes, they will still be a bit soft/crumbly, and after 20 minutes they will be crispier. For those of you who like to bake pizza: I made 16 sticks, with 0.6 P per stick.
