Oatmeal patties

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g oat flakes
  • 125 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder or baking soda
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

Let the oatmeal soak in lukewarm milk for 1 hour. Roast the chopped onion. Mix all ingredients and let it rest for another half hour. Form the mixture into oatmeal patties and fry in a little fat. Serve the patties with sweet potato mash. Enjoy!
