Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200g Camembert(s)
- 75 g butter
- 1 onion(s), red, finely diced (really finely)
- 1 tbsp paprika powder (Hungarian, smoked)
- ½ pear(s), diced
- 1 cl pear schnapps, Williams, optional
- salt and pepper

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes
I put the Camembert and butter straight from the fridge into the microwave for about 1 minute. Then, using a fork, mash the butter and Camembert with the paprika and schnapps and mix. Roughly chop the Camembert beforehand. Stir in the diced onion and pear. Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. The quality of the ingredients is important! Especially the smoked paprika! It tastes best on dark wood-fired bread accompanied by a wheat beer. Place a red onion ring on top of the bread.
