One-pot chicken with rice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 200 g rice
  • 1 ½ onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 360 ml chicken broth
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

simple, one-pot

Season the chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika and sear them well on both sides in a deep pot with a little oil. Remove the chicken from the pot and sauté the diced onions and crushed garlic. Add the rice and pour in the broth. Place the chicken pieces on top of the rice, cover the pot, and bake in the oven at 200°C for 35 minutes.
