One Pot Pea and Ham Noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 200 g cooked ham, sliced
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 300 g peas, fresh and split or frozen
  • 1.2 liters of vegetable broth
  • 1 cup of whipped cream or Cremefine for cooking, 200 ml each
  • some salt and pepper, colored or black, from the mill
  • some oregano
  • 500g orecchiette
  • 100 g feta cheese, crumbled, or pecorino, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion and slice into strips. Slice the cooked ham into strips. Combine all ingredients, except the feta or pecorino, in a large pot, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over low to medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Season the pea and ham pasta to taste, adjusting seasoning if necessary, and serve sprinkled with crumbled feta or grated pecorino.
